Finally, the d-day arrived on the 22nd of November i.e. this Sunday when one of the most talked about couples tied the knot of togetherness. Yes, Raj Kundra dressed in an authentic sherwani and a sehra, rode in a chariot and traveled all the way to wed our Bollywood dulhania Shilpa Shetty. Infact we saw Raj Kundra do a slight bhangra, like a typical Punjabi munda, as he boarded the chariot that head the baraat.
Shilpa Shetty, needless to say, how beautiful she was looking, dressed a traditional Bunt saree, in burgundy and red. The choli had crystals stitched on to it. She looked stunning as she wore white flowers all over her hair in a typical South Indian style. And she combined it with kaliren on both her hands, just to give it a Punjabi touch.
The baraat came in to her doorstep and the couple god married in a ceremonial pattern according to both South Indian as well as Punjabi rituals. The guests were few at the wedding; just close friends and family members. But the ceremony was indeed a treat to the eyes; both the families looked extremely happy and excited.
And after a long day of celebrations and rituals, our bindaas girl Shilpa Shetty became Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra. We wish you a very happy married life ahead!
